Meet Simi Chepal

My personal healing journey is at the heart of everything I do as a therapist. Taking the time to focus on my own growth has made me even more equipped to support my clients on their healing journeys. Through my ongoing work on myself, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and vulnerabilities that come with self-discovery and healing.

I know what it’s like to unlearn deeply ingrained habits and face both personal struggles and patterns inherited from past generations. Doing this inner work has deepened my empathy and compassion, allowing me to show up for my clients authentically and create a safe space for emotional expression.

Art has always played a central role in my healing. Creativity, for me, is not just about making art—it’s woven into everything I do. It can be the way towels are folded, colour coding my personal calendar, setting up décor. Art is intertwined in my sense of being and truly fulfils my soul.

I’m passionate about sharing these creative approaches to help others reconnect with themselves and experience healing in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

How I Work

My Approach

When we work together, I’ll be there to ensure you have everything you need to feel empowered on your healing journey. I’ll guide you through the process, offering support and insight every step of the way. Together, we’ll combine talk therapy, narrative therapy, and art therapy to explore your story in a way that feels safe, supportive, and uniquely suited to you.

Psychotherapy (Talk Therapy): This is simply a chance to talk things through in a supportive space. We’ll have conversations about the emotions and patterns that are shaping your experiences, helping you gain clarity and understanding.

Narrative Therapy: The stories we tell ourselves matter. Through narrative therapy, we’ll reflect on these stories and gently reshape the ones that no longer serve you. Whether it’s through writing or other creative techniques, the goal is to help you feel empowered in your journey.

Art Therapy: Art therapy isn’t about being an artist—it’s about expressing yourself in ways that feel natural and freeing. Whether through colors, symbols, or simple doodles, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your feelings creatively, with guidance and support along the way.
